Abstract:Abstract-Stimulation of the central nervous system can be useful for treating neurological disorders. Wireless neurostimulating devices have the benefit that they can float in tissue and do not experience the sheering caused by tethering tension that non-wireless stimulators impose on connecting wires. An optically powered, logic controlled, CMOS microdevice that can decode telemetry data from an optical packet is a potential way of implementing wireless, addressable, microstimulators. Through the use of an op… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
