Adenocarcinoma of the appendix — case study

Abstract: The following study presents the case of a 58-year-old woman who was diagnosed, during the diagnosis of an ovarian tumor, with mucous metastatic adenocarcinoma of the appendix. Due to the severity of the disease and the low degree of differentiation of the cancer, the treatment of the patient required a continuous and intensive systemic treatment lasting three years.
