“…At diagnosis, many patients had nonfunctioning hydronephrotic kidneys. One case has been noted in a horseshoe kidney [4], and one has been noted with coexistant tuberculous pyelonephritis [ 161. Occasionally, multifocal tumors are noted in the renal pelvis and ipsilateral ureter [ 10,171. In general, the symptoms at presentation were that of calculus pyelonephritis.…”
