Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of the Oral Cavity- A Case Report Comparing the Differences and Similarities Between a Child and an Adult Patient

Abstract: Adenoid cystic carcinoma is a malignant neoplasm primarily of the salivary gland, which can also involve lacrimal glands and other exocrine glands. Adenoid cystic carcinoma rarely presents in the buccal mucosa and young children, and among the major salivary glands, it rarely occurs in the sublingual gland.
