Adenosine 3’ ,5’-Cyclic Monophosphate and Guanosine 3’,5’-Cyclic Monophosphate Levels in Tumour, Plasma and Urine during the Growth of a Fibrosarcoma in Hamsters
Abstract:Levels of cyclic AMP and cyclic GMP were measured in tumours, plasmas, and urines from groups of hamsters at different times after implantation of a fibrosarcoma (of kidney cell origin) and in kidney cortices, plasmas and urines from healthy hamsters. Initially, tumour cyclic AMP levels were significantly lower than those in kidney cortex but this difference disappeared during the growth of the tumour.
