Objective To identify the elite of authors about the subject adherence to antiretroviral therapy; to identify the journals turned to publishing articles about adherence to antiretroviral therapy; and to identify and analyze the most commonly used words in abstracts of articles about adherence to antiretroviral therapy. Method A bibliometric study conducted through the Scopus base. We used articles published between 1996 and 2014, after application of the eligibility criteria, there were composed the sample with 24 articles. The data were analyzed descriptively. Were used the laws of bibliometric (Lotka, Bradford and Zipf) and the conceptual cloud map of words, through the program Cmap tools. Results Lotka’s Law identified the 5 authors more productive (46% of the total published). Bradford is impaired in this study. Concerning Zipf, 3 zones were determined, 31.47% of the words with in the first zone, 26.46% in the second and 42.06% in the third. In the conceptual map, the words/factors that positively and negatively influence adherence were emphasized, among them the need for more research in the health services. Conclusion There are few publications about the accession to antiretroviral therapy, and the scientific production is in the process of maturation. One can infer that the theme researched is not yet an obsolete topic. It should be noted that the Bibliometric was a relevant statistic tool to generate information about the publications about the antiretroviral therapy.

“…The lack of adherence is considered a threat to the effectiveness of the treatment, which contributes to the spread of virus-resistance (COLAÇO, 2016;MIYADA et al, 2017). It is also noticed that the correct use of ART can reduce the costs of future hospitalizations due to complications of the infection, as well as the need to exchange the medication for more complex and expensive ones (BANDEIRA et al, 2016;MENEZES et al ., 2018). Given the above, it is observed that adherence to treatment with ART requires more investigations to develop a care plan (VALE et al, 2018), in which the various factors involved are considered to better guide the multiprofessional and FPVHA team Depending on the way that PLWHA react in relation to their HIV status, they may show feelings of inferiority due to the discrimination suffered, uncertainty about the future, fear of approaching death and changes in appearance (ANTELMAN et al, 2007;GONZALEZ et al, 2011), which results in an unfavorable prognosis, with a greater involvement of opportunistic diseases, which can lead to neurocognitive impairments (CHRISTO, 2010;SEIDL et al, 2007;AZEVEDO et al, 2014) Anxiety and depression affect PLWHA twice or more than in the general population (PINTO et al, 2007), however, when both are treated, they show a high rate of improvement, reducing the use of health care, mortality and can prolong life (PINTO et al, 2007).…”

The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) was discovered in the 1980s, it affects the immune system and when not treated with appropriate medications it can lead the person to develop acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). The antiretroviral therapy (ART) that makes HIV undetectable was discovered in 1990. However, despite the free ART in Brazil, there is still a challenge regarding the adherence of people (100%) living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA), because the abandonment of the medication or the non-regular use reduces future treatment options which cause illness and death. The objective of this research was to understand the perception of the person living with HIV/AIDS and their family members, regarding the care offered in the infectious and parasitic diseases unit. In addition, the anxiety and depression rate that affects them during the hospitalization period will be considered. This study was carried out in the Infectious and Parasitic Inpatient Sector DIP Infirmary (Enf/DIP), which is part of the Infectious and Parasitic Diseases Unit (UNIDIP) of the Hospital Maria Aparecida Pedrossiam (HUMAP), in the municipality of Campo Grande - MS. The prospective collection of primary data was obtained through questionnaires that were replaced by words and expressions in the title and in the content. Changes were made and elaborated with the objective of improving the understanding of the sentences, which became a semantic evaluation of content by a committee of evaluators. Thus, before the final application of the questionnaire to the participants, all the steps cited constituted the methodological strategies for capturing data.

RESUMOObjetivo: elaborar uma árvore de decisão para formular o diagnóstico de enfermagem "falta de adesão e ansiedade em pessoas vivendo com AIDS". Método: estudo transversal, com abordagem quantitativa, realizado em hospital referência no tratamento de doenças infectocontagiosas no Nordeste do Brasil. A população estudada consistiu em pacientes com AIDS, hospitalizados na unidade hospitalar. A elaboração dos diagnósticos foi processual, realizada simultaneamente com a coleta de dados, buscando identificar as características definidoras e fatores relacionados/de risco de acordo com NANDA-I. Para o tratamento dos dados coletados, os instrumentos foram numerados e as variáveis codificadas e inseridas num banco de dados. Para análise do grau de concordância, o índice Kappa foi escolhido. Resultados: identificaram-se os principais diagnósticos de enfermagem, como a falta de adesão, que estava presente em 100% dos participantes, com índice de concordância superior a 80%. O estudo identificou as principais características definidoras e fatores relacionados/associados ao diagnóstico. Das respectivas características definidoras e fatores relacionados, a árvore de decisão foi elaborada. Conclusão: o modelo de decisão do diagnóstico falta de adesão apresentou as características determinantes, falta de comportamento de adesão e fatores relacionados, conhecimento insuficiente sobre o regime terapêutico e esquema de tratamento complexo. ABSTRACTObjective: to elaborate a decision tree to formulate the nursing diagnosis "lack of adherence and anxiety in people living with AIDS". Method: cross-sectional study, with quantitative approach, carried out in a referral hospital in the treatment of infectious-contagious diseases in Northeast Brazil. The study population consisted of AIDS patients, hospitalized in the hospital unit. The diagnoses elaboration was procedural, performed simultaneously with the data collection, seeking to identify the defining characteristics and related/risk factors according to NANDA-I. For the treatment of the data collected, the instruments were numbered and the variables were coded and inserted into a database. For analysis of agreement degree, the Kappa index was chosen. Results: the main nursing diagnoses were identified, such as a lack of adherence, which was present in 100% of the participants, with a concordance index higher than 80%. The study identified the main defining characteristics and related factors associated with this diagnosis. From the defining characteristics and related factors, the decision tree was elaborated. Conclusion: the decision model of the lack of adherence diagnosis presented the determinant characteristics, lack of adherence behavior and related factors, insufficient knowledge about the therapeutic regimen and complex treatment scheme.
