“…First , following previous studies (Thurik et al , 2016; Verheul et al , 2016; Wiklund et al , 2017), this study also concentrates on the underlying ADHD symptoms rather than ADHD diagnosis, so, the six-item adult ADHD self-report scale (ASR-6), developed by the World Health Organization (Kessler et al , 2005), is used to measure ADHD symptoms. This is a screening scale that is used for general population and has been validated in many studies (Canits et al , 2019; Hatak et al , 2020; Kessler et al , 2005; Gunia et al , 2021; Thurik et al , 2016; Tucker et al , 2021; Moore et al , 2019; Verheul et al , 2015; Wiklund et al , 2017; Wismans et al , 2020).
