Adhesive small-bowel obstruction: Conservative versus surgical management?

Abstract: Bowel obstruction is a common emergency requiring acute medical care. Small-bowel obstruction (SBO) accounts for 80% of all mechanical bowel obstruction, and adhesive SBO is the most common cause of SBO.
