Abstract:Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) is an abnormal coronal curvature of the spine that most commonly presents in adolescence.
While it may be asymptomatic, AIS can cause pain, cosmetic deformity, and physical and psychological disability with curve progression.
