Abstract:Adolescence is the process that occurs after childhood and before adulthood (15-19) years. Teenage pregnancy is adverse for the mother and her child including low birth weight and high perinatal mortality. Complications between pregnancy and childbirth are the second leading cause of death among girls between the ages of 15 and 19 in the world.
