Religious morals are important to be explored in each student in participating in learning in the new normal era. The purpose of this study is to develop a religious motivation scale instrument that can be used to photograph students' religious motivation in this new normal era. Research applies ADDIE research and development design. Participants in the development of the religious motivation scale instrument consisted of 2,880 students in junior high schools in grades VII, VIII, and IX spread across Indonesia, which were selected through convenience sampling technique. Analysis of data from filling the religious motivation scale using the Rasch model technique. The results of research and development show that there are two items that are misfit, namely item numbers 8 and 12. Item number 8 reads: "I took lessons to practice the knowledge I gained in order to get a reward from Allah", while item number 12 reads: "The lessons I have followed have strengthened me to stay away from bad deeds". After confirmation, it was found that item number 8 and number 12 were the most difficult items to approve.

Indebtedness and gratitude motivate prosocial behavior, but no empirical work has examined how they operate when the giver is God. The Transcendent Indebtedness to God Scale (T-ITG) was created to measure positive indebtedness to God. Exploratory factor analysis was first conducted (N = 658) and then the factor structure was confirmed in a second sample (N = 441). The two samples were then merged to estimate models examining the role of transcendent indebtedness in predicting outcomes. Transcendent indebtedness to God was a unique predictor of higher secure attachment with God, religiosity/spirituality, positive well-being, and prosocial behavior when controlling for gratitude. Transcendent indebtedness to God also predicted lower self-centered traits and religious dysfunction. The T-ITG appears to be a valid measurement of transcendent indebtedness to God-a construct with implications in developing prosocial behavior and religiosity in adolescence and emerging adulthood.

There is a paucity of studies that examined the relationship between conception of god and psychological outcomes in a self-determination theory framework. The aim of this study was to examine the role of autonomous motivation and controlled motivation as a mediator of the association between perceptions of god, self-esteem, and religious practices. In a sample of 349 adults (M = 22.50, SD = 3.36), instruments were administrated to assess perceptions of god, the motivation of the subject to perform religious practices, and selfesteem. Moreover, participants were asked how many hours and then how many times per week they practiced religious activities. The results of this study showed that controlling god was related to controlling motivation. Furthermore, supportive god was related to controlling motivation and to autonomous motivation. In addition, controlling motivation was related to autonomous motivation and self-esteem. Finally, autonomous motivation was related to religious practices. Implications of the findings are discussed.
