Adoption and use of mobile applications by local governments: the case of Portugal

Abstract

The study presented in this article addresses the adoption and use of mobile applications by local governments in Portugal. The relevance of the study relates to the growing importance of mobile applications for e-government provision at the local level in the scope of the advent of smart sustainable cities and communities.
