Abstract:Biochar has been successfully used to treat wastewater. The adsorption capacity of biochar and their properties depended on the temperature used at their production as well as on each type of feedstock. In this study biochar was produced from sugarcane bagasse at 500 o C and 650 o C, to investigate the adsorption behavior of crystal violet dye (CV). The batch technique was used to investigate the effects of physiochemical parameters (contact time and initial dye concentration). The data was submitted to first … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
