Abstract:In this study, the sol-gel auto-combustion method is employed to synthesize barium hexaferrite (BaFe12O19) using carboxymethyl cellulose as chelating agent. The properties and identity of the synthesized BaFe12O19 nanoparticles were verified with X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM). The adsorption efficiency of the prepared nanoparticles toward lead(II) metal i… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
