Abstract:Heavy metals persistence in water brings about undesirable effect on man and animal because they are not degradable like other organic pollutants. Carbonized Avocado Pear seed (CAPS) as well as carbonized orange peel (COP) was impregnated with Potassium hydroxide (KOH) in ratio 1:1 for 48 hours.
