Adult Jejunojejunal Intussusception After Jejunoileal Bypass Bariatric Surgery

Abstract: The jejunoileal bypass is one of the bariatric surgical options which have been abandoned for two reasons: first, it leads to severe malnutrition and liver failure and, second, the bypassed jejunum-being a blind loop-is susceptible to bacterial accumulation which might become a source of sepsis due to bacterial translocation.
