Advanced wastewater treatment of micropollutants – state of the art

Abstract: PurposeMicropollutants in the aquatic environment pose threats to both ecosystems and human health. Traditional wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) reduce some micropollutants, especially those who adhere to sludge or suspended matter.
