Abstract:Advancements in wheat breeding and genomics presently explores the genomic interventions driving focusing on quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping, marker-assisted selection (MAS) and genomic selection (GS). QTL mapping emerges as a pivotal method for pinpointing markers linked with desirable traits, facilitating MAS. Furthermore, genomic selection (GS) holds immense potential for crop improvement.
