Advances in the management of gastric cancer

Abstract: Gastric cancer is a common malignancy in our country and patients continue to present at an advanced stage. Following confi rmation of diagnosis, CT scan, endoscopic ultrasound and laparoscopy are the essential staging modalities. Radical gastrectomy remains the initial treatment of choice.
