Abstract: The current understanding of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumours (IMTs) of the gynaecological tract has recently been enhanced by their increased recognition. This increase is largely due to greater accessibility to RNA‐based molecular assays used to identify their defining ALK rearrangements.
