Abstract

This study investigates the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in detecting online terrorism activities, addressing the challenge of effectively analyzing extremist content on digital platforms. Employing various AI and ML techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and data mining, the research evaluates their effectiveness in different scenarios. The findings indicate that these technologies are effective in processing large datasets to identify potential terrorist activities online, with varying levels of accuracy across different models. The paper concludes that AI and ML are valuable in counter-terrorism efforts, but highlight the need for ongoing research and development, as well as the importance of balancing security and privacy concerns.
