“…In the present small single-center study of 20 patients with mitral stenosis, PBMV performed under echocardiography guidance only yielded favorable immediate hemodynamic and clinical improvement in all patients and rate of in-hospital complications was low with no deaths, similar to the outcomes obtained with the traditional procedure performed under fluoroscopy guidance.
