Abstract: Pembrolizumab is an immune-checkpoint inhibitor (ICI), designed as a highly selective anti-programmed death-1 (PD-1) humanized monoclonal antibody, which ultimately inhibits the negative immune regulation due to PD-1 receptor signaling.
