Advocacy and Action in Appalachia Aimed at Adverse Childhood Experiences

Abstract: Rural Appalachia faces extreme poverty-linked hardships, often referred to as ‘social determinants of health'. One social determinant of health often linked with rural poverty is adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
