Abstract

DEBIE questionnaire brings together adequate psychometric properties that can be applied to assess the perception that the general population have in relation to esthetic dermatology and its contribution to their emotional well-being.

“…These participants volunteered to take part in the study. The Aesthetic Dermatology and Emotional Well‐Being Scale (DEBIE) was applied to gather information on both the perception that the general population has with regard to several aspects of the Aesthetic Dermatology and their emotional state, and bearing in mind gender differences. This scale was distributed using the snowball sampling method among men and women from urban and rural areas, within different educational backgrounds, income, marital status, with or without a public‐facing position, with or without position of responsibility over other people at work.…”
