One of the most common bridge solutions is suspended structures, among which the work of Santiago Calatrava stands out. The article analyzes the realized asymmetric pylon bridges designed by the architect, with cables on diagonal supports. The research aims to evaluate the pylons in terms of the relationship between the obtained architectural form and the proportions of the diagrams of the main forces. Compliance of the obtained forms with intuitive methods of preliminary design of the structure by architects was examined. The article can be a starting material for interdisciplinary research on optimizing the amount of material.
