“…A univariate binary logistic regression analysis confirmed that age was strongly associated with pediatric burns ( p < 0.000). A study from the Netherlands looking at severe burn incidents in children aged under 5 years showed that the median age was 18 months (75th percentile: 26), boys: 17 months (75th percentile: 24) and girls: 19 months (75th percentile: 30) ( 6 ).
