Affective disorders, antidepressant drugs and brain metabolism

Abstract: There is increasing evidence that affective disorders are associated with dysfunction of neurotransmitter postsynaptic transduction pathways and that chronic treatment with clinically active drugs results in adaptive modification of these pathways.
