Abstract-Global software development (GSD) is one of modern trends in software engineering. The last years has witnessed a significant increase in the adoption of Agile in GSD .This paper considers the issue by examining whether Scrum practices used in mitigation of temporal distance-based GSD coordination challenges. We were used Cisco TelePresence tool in Synchronization communication for simulation of face to face meetings. We were designed a simple algorithm to help project managers in determining the appropriate strategies. This algorithm is based on the temporal difference between the sites. This is may be great or simple. Through temporal difference, we calculated number of working hours overlapping. Which are classified in the three cases and each case has number of strategies are sufficient to overcome this challenges.

In this paper we present a comparison of the draft Essence 1.0 and Software & Systems Process Engineering Metamodel (SPEM) 2.0 specifications for software engineering methods from the Object Management Group (OMG). The comparison is based on results from the REMICS research project where we are defining an agile methodology for model-driven modernization of legacy applications to service clouds. The initial REMICS Methodology was defined using SPEM. Selected parts of the methodology are now being redefined in Essence to evaluate its applicability, in particular its promise of better support for definition of agile practices and method enactment compared to SPEM. The comparison shows that there are similarities in the authoring capabilities provided by the two specifications, but that there are key differences in the method architecture with respect to support for enactment.

Abstract. Cloud computing is currently recognized as an important platform technology that enables service clouds supporting the Software as a Service (SaaS) paradigm. This paper presents the REMICS Methodology, which combines the model-driven approach with agile practices, for the migration of legacy applications to service clouds. The paper gives an overview of the methodology and its application in one case study, the issues faced by three case study providers in applying the methodology and the results of a questionnaire of the applicability of agile practices in addressing the issues.
