Due to the pandemic established by COVID-19 that affected the whole world, the sedentary habits of the population began to be seen more attentively. Thus, tele monitoring has become a viable outlet to stimulate the body and mind, as a way to combat sedentary lifestyle and COVID-19 itself. In the midst of the social distancing that we currently live, tele monitoring has become a valuable tool for people to continue practicing exercises in a way guided by teachers or health professionals. The central objective is to evaluate the effects of two different types of physical training on heart rate variability in healthy young people. A randomized clinical trial was conducted with a sample of 24 people between men and women aged between 18 and 35 years, randomized into three groups CG, ITG and RTG. It can be concluded that the RTG promoted improvement in the variables HF ms² and RMSSD significantly, although in the other variables the two protocols were beneficial, the results suggest that Resistance Training may be a viable tool for training programs for healthy young people.
