Abstract:Öz Acromegaly is a chronic disorder characterized by excessive secretion of growth hormone and elevated insulin-like growth factor-1 levels, usually due to a pituitary adenoma. In this patients, hypertension occurs in 18-60%, with a predominance of diastolic blood pressure elevation that increases in prevalence with age.
