Abstract:We studied the alkaloid composition of Xylopia aethiopica A. Rich ( Annona-ceae) leaves collected in republic of Guinea and isolated for the first time and identified the 3 benzyltetrahydroisoquinolines alkaloids: armépavine; coclaurine ; Nméthylcoclaurine, and a new alkaloid - xyloethiopine Keywords: Annonaceae; Xylopia aethiopica A.
