“…En el año 2013, Cordovilla et al ( 21) publica un estudio de trauma asociado al consumo de drogas o alcohol, determinando una positividad del 39% y 50% respectivamente, semejante a lo observado en este estudio, lo cual se puede explicar por factores socioeconómicos y psicosociales que afectan con mucha frecuencia a este grupo etario. En este reporte, el empleo de drogas y alcohol adicionalmente se encontró relacionado con el aumento de la probabilidad de reincidencia en el traumatismo y adelanta en 15 años la presentación del primer traumatismo (21).
