Abstract:Alkali metal and ammonium difluoromono(isonicotinoylhydrazinato)cuprate(II) trihydrates, M[CuF2(pyinhH)].3H20 (where M = Li, Na, K, Rb and W; pyinhH2 = isonicotinoylhydrazine), have been synthesized and characterized. The complexes have anomalously low ~6 values suggesting weak Cu-Cu interaction. ESR evidence suggests that all complexes have weakly interacting electrons in the d,z-,z orbital. IR data suggest bonding of mononegative isonicotinoylhdrazine through the enolate oxygen atom and primary nitrogen atom… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
