Alkali-resistant porous glass produced from a Na2O—B2O3—Y2O3—ZrO2 glass

Abstract: A porous glass that has a high BET surface area and an alkali resistance superior to that of porous silica glass was prepared by leaching a glass in which silica had been totally substituted by a combination of Y203 and ZrO 2.
