Abstract:Long-alkyl-chain alcohols are promising biofuel alternatives to fossil fuels; however, their detection has been a challenging task. In this study, the responses of nanoscale Pt-based sensors to aliphatic alcohols were examined, focusing on alkyl-chainlength and temperature dependencies.
