Abstract:Despite various efforts to optimize the near‐infrared (NIR) performance of perylene diimide (PDI) derivatives for bio‐imaging, convenient and efficient strategies to amplify the fluorescence of PDI derivatives in biological environment and the intrinsic mechanism studies are still lacking.
