Abstract:RationaleAlkylresorcinols (AR) are cereal‐specific biomarkers and have recently been found in archaeological pots. However, their low concentrations and high susceptibility to degradation make them difficult to detect using conventional gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
