Abstract

Science & Technology Co. Pvt. Ltd. studied and developed an improved impeller for the mixing tank used in fiber manufacturing. The proposed design provides five times better mixing for solid suspensions using 12 percent less p owe r. Si m u l a t i o n h e l p e d t he e n g ineering team make design decisions that balance mixing performance and power draw.
