“…However, the extract is allergenic because of its high content of sesquiterpene lactones. Not surprisingly, D. viscosa has already been reported as a cause of allergic contact dermatitis and ABCD . In our case, the onset of the ABCD caused by D. viscosa might have been promoted by our patient going hunting with his Brittany, a quite long‐haired breed of gun dog, that used to live in his home, and may have carried plant contaminants, thereby increasing the probability of contact with the plant materials.…”
