Alternativas pedagógicas de resistencia a la discriminación educativa neoliberal ejercida por el poder masculino-blanco-rico

Abstract

With the purpose of contributing to support the idea that neoliberal educational policies are discriminatory and use the educational system to exercise discrimination of race, gender and class in favor of the masculine-white-rich power, the following reflection article compiled, from the main databases and repositories, some works written in English that orbit around this subject. The purpose was to make known in Spanish speaking something of what has been discussed in english about racism in education. The review also revealed the existence of resistance educational spaces: in essence, a pedagogical perspective based on the intimacy of dialogue in classrooms, conversation, argumentation and narrative.

También, la libertad es usada por el sistema neoliberal para ocasionar cálculo y egoísmo, donde se privilegia lo individual a través del "talento" para asegurar el triunfo personal, haciendo a un lado lo colectivo y originando así, el neodarwinismo social (Díez, 2019), constituyéndose este sistema, como la gran fábrica de pobres (Álvarez, 2018).…”

Critical pedagogy: an emancipatory alternative in the neoliberal context

In this sense, public institutions are turned into instruments and market objectives thanks to the establishment of competitiveness, deregulation, and privatization of institutions with the guarantee of the State (Molina, 2020). Also, freedom is used by the neoliberal system to cause calculation and selfishness, where the individual is privileged through "talent" to ensure personal triumph, putting aside the collective and thus originating social neo-Darwinism (Díez, 2019), constituting this system, as the great factory of the poor (Álvarez, 2018).…”
