This could be due to the increased elimination of the last year's generation (12-24 mm individuals) in the late autumn of 2017 (Anninsky et al, 2020b). Thus, the generative renewal of P. pileus population was more efficient in 2017 (higher abundance and lower biomass) than in 2016.…”
