Abstract:Mark Grimshaw-Aagaard makes the case that focus should be placed on the study of ambiguity and vagueness in relation to video game sound design and analysis. In this, he proffers the opinion that ambiguity and vagueness should be utilized as video game sound design tools not least as an antidote to the dead-end of deathly realism.
