“…Varden concentrate 137Cs more efficiently than the anadromous fish, or if they were exposed to different concentrations. Unfortunately, the high values for the 1972 DK-45 samples were not reported until 1975 (Nelson and Seymour,1975) and were commented upon later (Nelson and Seymour, 1976;Seymour and Nelson, 1977 for the fission products and that there is a distinct "year of collection" effect, with peak years in 1970-1971. Seymour and Johnson (1978 investigated the year-of-collection effect of atmospheric detonation of nuclear devices of 20-kiloton or greater fission yields in China.…”

“…The dashed line for Mo/TiW is not actual cumulate failure but an estimated minimum criterion. Although no failure occurred for Mo/TiW during 2284 hours test at 3.6E6A/cm sq., the first failure of this group of 16 samples might have happened any time after 2284 hours, which would have produced a data point at 3.1% cumulative failures, according to the table of reference [6]. The dashed line for Mo/TiW was drawn through this point, using the same slope as for the other sample groups.…”
