Amelanotic malignant melanoma arising in an ovarian dermoid cyst

Abstract: Malignant transformation occurs in about 2% only of ovarian dermoid cysts. The clinical and histopathological findings in a rare case of primary ovarian malignant melanoma of amelanotic type are presented.
