“…The adsorption equilibrium constant is related with In this investigation, the evaluated value of 0 ads G  was -33.28 kJ/mol for the investigated corrosion inhibitor. This result indicates that the studied corrosion inhibitor is adsorbed spontaneously on the surface of mild steed and shows mixed mode adsorption [41].…”

“…The associated electrochemical parameters such as corrosion potential (E corr ), corrosion current density (i corr ), anodic and cathodic Tafel slopes (β a and β c ) were obtained from the intersection of anodic and cathodic Tafel lines, and corrosion inhibition efficiencies PDP (%)  were calculated and presented in Table 1. It is clear that the addition of inhibitor hindered the acid attack on the steel electrode and a comparison of curves in both cases, showed that, with respect to the blank, increasing the concentration of the inhibitor gave rise to a consistent decrease in anodic and cathodic current densities indicating that inhibitor acts as mixed type inhibitor [17,18]. Increasing of inhibitor concentration results a reduction in the corrosion current densities and an increase in η%, which suggests that the protective film adsorbed on the metal surface tends to be more complete at higher inhibitor concentrations.…”

“…The problem of corrosion is a primary concern that must be confronted for safety, environmental and economic reasons. It also leads to heavy maintenance environmental costs and impacts of several billion dollars [3][4]. In recent years, particularly in developing countries, corrosion research has focused on the development of "green corrosion inhibitors", of which compounds have good inhibition efficiency, without environmental impact [5][6][7], and reduced maintenance costs [8].…”
