Abstract:Background: Nosocomial pathogens, with the more prevalent bacteria abbreviated as ESKAPE pathogens (Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumanii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobater), often attain antimicrobial resistance due to mutations.
