Aminomethoxy Derivatives of 1-Benzylthiooctane as a Biocorrosion Inhibitor

Abstract:Based on benzylthioctane-2-ol, heterocyclic amines (piperidine, morpholine, hexamethyleneimine), and formaldehyde, new Mannich bases were synthesized. The reaction was carried out at a temperature of 45–500C for 3–4 h. in an equimolar ratio of starting compounds. The yield of target products was 70–74%.
