Amiodarone‐induced Thyrotoxicosis: Not a Benign Condition

Abstract: SUMMARYAmiodarone is a heavily iodinated drug effective in the control of various tachyarrhythmias. Despite its undoubted benefit, treatment with amiodarone is not without risk, because a number of potentially serious side‐effects may develop during therapy.
