Amplitude analysis of theD+KS0π+π

Abstract: We perform an analysis of the D þ → K 0 S π þ π 0 Dalitz plot using a data set of 2.92 fb −1 of e þ e − collisions at the ψð3770Þ mass accumulated by the BESIII experiment, in which 166694 candidate events are selected with a background of 15.1%. The Dalitz plot is found to be well represented by a combination of six quasitwo-body decay channels [K 0 S ρ þ , K 0 S ρð1450Þ þ ,K Ã0 π þ ,K 0 ð1430Þ 0 π þ ,Kð1680Þ 0 π þ ,κ 0 π þ ] plus a small nonresonant component. Using the fit fractions from this analysis, part… Show more

“…The LHCb collaboration makes use of the D 0 → a ± 1 π ∓ to study CP violation [45], and it is also feasible to study this mode using the CLEO-c data [46]. The BES-III collaboration has accumulated about 10 7 events of the D 0 and will collect about 3 fb −1 data at the center-of-mass √ s = 4.17 GeV to produce the D + s D − s [47,48]. All these data can be used to study the charm decays into the a 1 .…”

“…1. The uncertainty due to the efficiency of the charged particles tracking has been investigated with J/ψ → Λ Λ → pπ − pπ + control samples [44], taking into consideration the correlation between the magnitude of charged particle momentum and its polar angle acceptances. Corrections are made based on the 2dimensional distribution of momentum versus polar angle.…”
